Stratocaster bodyshape '54 "GOLD LEAF" style
The original Gold Leaf Stratocaster was built by Mark Kendrick " Fender Master Builder", as a custom order for Eric Clapton, at the time of the company's 50th anniversary in 1996. It was Clapton's main instrument during the Legends period in 1997. Clapton he last used the guitar during his 2001 One More Car, One More Rider world tour, before selling it at Christies for US$455,000.
